Pablo Picasso – one of the titans of world art. He began drawing in early childhood and was constantly reinventing himself and his painting, changing styles over and over. His art remains challenging for many viewers even today: some feel alienated by it, even frightened. It’s difficult to imagine what impression his works made on the public at the beginning of the 20th century. In the meeting we will talk about the life of the artist, learn how to understand his paintings, and examine the different periods of his creative biography. The lecture will be given by Liana Lashkhia, art historian and independent researcher.
