Description

Join us at Family Candles in Saburtalo, Tbilisi — a welcoming, family-friendly creative space combining candle-making workshops, origami classes, drinks and desserts in a cozy café atmosphere.

Our origami workshop for children is a fun, hands-on activity designed especially for children aged 5+. During each class, children learn step by step how to fold and decorate one complete paper model, which they can proudly take home.

Classes are held in small groups of up to 8 children, allowing each participant to receive personal guidance and create at a comfortable pace.

Parents are welcome to stay and relax in our café area while the children participate. A menu of coffee, cold drinks and desserts is available to order separately.

Special First-Class Price

Each child’s first origami class is available for a one-time special price of 15 GEL instead of 25 GEL.

After the first class, children who enjoy the experience can continue with our origami membership program and attend regular creative classes.

Location

Tbilisi
Tbilisi is the capital and the largest city of Georgia, lying on the banks of the Kura River with a population of around 1.2 million people. Tbilisi was founded in the fifth century AD by Vakhtang I of Iberia, and since then has served as the capital of various Georgian kingdoms and republics. Because of its location at the crossroads between Europe and Asia, and its proximity to the lucrative Silk Road, throughout history, Tbilisi has been a point of contention among various global powers. To this day, the city's location ensures its position as an important transit route for energy and trade projects. Tbilisi's history is reflected in its architecture, which is a mix of medieval, neoclassical, Beaux Arts, Art Nouveau, Stalinist, and Modern structures. Historically, Tbilisi has been home to people of multiple cultural, ethnic, and religious backgrounds, though its population is overwhelmingly Eastern Orthodox Christian.
