Open Georgian Language Class

If you’re going to integrate, you might as well go all in! On Sunday, October 4, in the early evening, we invite you to an introductory class for anyone who wants to start learning Georgian from scratch or get familiar with the basics.

During the first class, we will:

• Get to know each other.
• Learn your first useful Georgian phrases and expressions.
• Practice how to pronounce some Georgian sounds correctly.
• Discuss how to learn Georgian effectively and which methods actually work.
• Go over the structure of future classes and how the learning process will work.
• Answer your questions about the language and the course.

And the answer to the main question: the first class is free, and each following class costs 25 GEL.

This session is an opportunity to get acquainted with the Georgian language, the teacher, and the learning format. If you’ve never studied Georgian before, that’s absolutely fine — we’ll start with the simplest and most useful things.

What makes these classes particularly valuable is the teacher himself. Giorgi is an experienced educator and a Georgian citizen who was born and raised in Russia. This gives him a particularly strong understanding of the challenges and nuances involved in learning Georgian from scratch.
