Only Lovers Left Alive

Adam and Eve (Tom Hiddleston and Tilda Swinton) are knowledgeable connoisseurs of music and literature, lovers, and centuries-old vampires. They live on opposite ends of the earth because they have eternity ahead of them together. The main thing is to find some fresh blood in time. However, even eternity can be burdensome. Adam leads a reclusive life alone with his records, guitars, and oriental rugs, quietly hating his contemporary "zombies." His lover comes to visit him, hoping to save him from depression.

Despite the fact that the main character is a musician and the entire film is threaded with a hypnotic soundtrack, it is not a film about music; this film is music itself. It is dense, like frozen blood on a stick that the characters eat, melancholic, and viscous. No matter what the plot is, what significance does it have for beings who have lived for centuries?
