New month — new band!
On February 8, the Tatuzа stage will host the Omar Kabiri Quartet featuring one of the most renowned jazz drummers, Mark Johnson!

Meet the quartet members:

Omar Kabiri is an American jazz trumpeter known for his powerful sound and free improvisation. He is a co-founder of the Freedom Art Quartet and has collaborated with Cecil Taylor, Charlie Haden, and David Murray. The quartet’s latest release reached No. 36 on the US Jazz Radio Charts in 2025.

Justin Salisbury is a Brooklyn-based pianist, composer, and producer, and a graduate of Berklee College of Music. He has performed at venues such as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and the Monterey Jazz Festival. His debut album Evergreen was released in 2022.

Felipe Arce is an Argentine-born, New York-based bassist, composer, and bandleader. He is the founder and principal composer of the Felipe Arce Quintet. His debut album EXPANSION was released on Fresh Sound Records and features Grammy-winning pianist Leo Genovese. Felipe Arce tours internationally and teaches at the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music.

Mark Johnson is a world-renowned American jazz drummer. He began playing drums in childhood and has collaborated in New York with artists such as Abbey Lincoln, Freddie Hubbard, and Cassandra Wilson. In January, Mark already appeared at Tatuzа jazz shows and received an enthusiastic response from the audience.
