On January 25 (Saturday), we’re watching Robert Eggers’ "Nosferatu" on the big screen – a new version of Bram Stoker’s "Dracula" and Friedrich Murnau’s 1922 film Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror.
About the film:
The movie takes viewers to the 1800s. Real estate agent Thomas Hutter travels to remote Transylvania to close a deal with the mysterious Count Orlok. The Count plans to move into a new house frighteningly close to Hutter himself, raising Thomas’s suspicions.
With every step he takes in this strange and ominous place, his unease grows. Why does Orlok avoid sunlight? Why do the locals look at him with such terror? These questions torment Hutter as he realizes that his client is not just an eccentric aristocrat but something much more.
