Mystical LAMPROBA
SVANETI · 2 days / 1 night
February 14–15
We are heading to the ancient festival of LAMPROBA — a powerful blend of pagan and Orthodox traditions.
It is a day of remembrance for the departed and a celebration of the victory of good over evil. On this day, the proud Svans welcome the coming of spring and honor their ancestors. A torchlight procession leads from a candle lit in the church to ritual bonfires, creating a truly mystical atmosphere.
Tour program includes:
Hatsvali ski resort
Evening torchlight procession
Traditional bathhouse with a natural plunge pool
Mestia Ethnographic Museum
The port city and Black Sea resort of Batumi is the capital of the Georgian Republic of Adjara. The Batumi Boulevard runs along the seafront, a park, and a beach. The 130-meter-high Alphabet Tower, featuring inscriptions in the Georgian script, houses an observation deck with stunning sea views. In the Old Town, you can see many reconstructed 19th-century buildings. In the northern part of Batumi lies the botanical garden, home to plants from around the world.
