Final performance of the season:
A modernized choreographic composition by Muro Gagoshidze.
On August 17 and 18, after shows in Tbilisi, Kutaisi, and Telavi, Muro Gagoshidze and his company will perform in Batumi with a one-act production.
The audience will experience renewed choreography, where the fusion of folk and contemporary art creates a fresh stage language.
You will witness a unique blend of traditional Georgian dance motifs, innovative elements of Georgian contemporary dance, and modern ballet.
The performance is accompanied by music from Niaz Diasamidze, Regioni, Chveneburebi, Lela Nakeuri, Irakli Menagarishvili, and Muro Gagoshidze.
Batumi Ilia Chavchavadze State Drama Theatre opened in 1952 and is the oldest dramatic theatre in Ajara, based in the centre of Batumi.
