Mount Sakornia — Bakhamaro
Day One
In the morning, we start the journey, drive to the campsite, and then go hiking to Mount Lashis-Perdi — another amazing peak few have visited. We’ll have lunch on the mountain and return to camp by dinner time.
This hike will help us acclimate to the mountains.
Total route: 8 km
Elevation gain: 700 m
Elevation loss: 700 m
Evening at the camp
We’ll set up camp, prepare a field dinner, socialize by the campfire, and watch the stars. Dream and enjoy the Milky Way!
We’ll go to bed early to rest well before the next day’s ascent.
Day Two — The Ascent
Mount Sakornia (2750 m above sea level) is the highest point in Bakhamaro and the second highest peak in the Meskheti Range.
We’ll ascend at a steady but energetic pace, take a few breaks, and have lunch at the summit. Afterward, we’ll descend back to the car, enjoy a victory tea with desserts, and head home.
