I'm Not There

Recently, a lavish biopic about Bob Dylan titled "A Complete Unknown" was released, but let's not forget about the equally wonderful film from 2007 – by the way, this is the first film that Dylan himself supported, giving his approval for the use of any of his recordings and cover versions. In this film, Dylan at different phases of his life is portrayed by five different actors, including a Black schoolboy and Cate Blanchett, whose role earned her a Golden Globe and an award in Venice. Not only do the actors change, but so do the cinematic styles, and you can find the meaning behind this approach in Yevtushenko's words: "I realized that in life there are as many lives as there are times we have loved in life."
