Marfa. Acoustic concert

Marfa will tell and sing English folk songs, and it may seem that almost all of them are about the hardships of a woman’s lot. But in reality, they are about the universal human experience of life in an unpredictable and unstable world, which has always been the case. People, both hundreds of years ago and today, have felt the same emotions about what’s happening to them as we do now. And the most important thing that makes us human is the ability to empathize.

There is a lot of sorrow around, and whether we want it or not, we close ourselves off from the horror and grow tired of empathizing. Sometimes, to thaw out and look at the world with fresh eyes, all it takes is listening and immersing ourselves in empathy for the heroes of these songs. Come join us, and let’s revive together!
