Mandarinoba
Departure
We leave Batumi around 9 AM.
Our journey will take us to a cozy old garden in a small Gurian village near Ozurgeti.
Next to the garden is a restored house full of history — warm, inviting, and perfect for enjoying a cup of tea.
Mandarin Picking
You will pick mandarins straight from the trees — sweet, fragrant, and full of flavor.
The organizer and gardening enthusiast Yana will tell you how citrus is grown and why local mandarins are so delicious.
We provide gloves and tools for harvesting and explain how to pick the fruit correctly.
Each participant will gather mandarins for themselves and take them home.
We will also pick mandarins for making jam.
Tea & Mandarin Jam
In the warmth of the house, we will hold a master class on cooking traditional Georgian mandarin jam — just like a real Georgian grandmother would make!
We will cook the jam together, and everyone will bottle some to take home.
Part of our creation we’ll enjoy right away with aromatic mountain herbal tea and a wonderful croissant.
A cozy atmosphere, unhurried conversations, and the peaceful spirit of a country house await you.
Return Home
Happy and relaxed, we return to Batumi around 8 PM.
