This time — to Gia Chubinidze at Nanua Winery.
Gia is famous for his warm hospitality, legendary feasts, and unique wines made from Otskhanuri Sapere grape.
A bit of history:
Gia’s great-grandfather, Ivane Chubinidze (nicknamed Nanua), was the royal cellar master for the last king of Georgia, Solomon II.
Today, Gia carries on the legacy — his winery is home to around 100 grape varieties, including rare Georgian grapes. His wines are all natural and made in traditional Georgian way.
