Live performance: “Hihi Radio” Duo

Sergey and Katya are musicians from nose to tail. Independent performers with great ears, voices, proper musical education, and a solid repertoire, they’ve been playing and singing together for six years now. Their set includes bard songs (their own and others’), pop, rock, Soviet hits, timeless tunes from cartoons and films, and occasionally even jazz and opera — basically, anything they like.

They look like ordinary people, but only at first glance. Soon their clownish, performative side gives them away as Hihishka and Katyukha. They joke, chat with the audience (kids included), tell stories about their hitchhiking travels — even all the way to the Atlantic Ocean — throw in some ventriloquism, and get playful with a looper. Good, interesting people — cheerful, warm-hearted, and exactly like their songs.
