Liudas Mockūnas is a woodwind multi-instrumentalist, improviser, and composer whose name is synonymous with both virtuosity and bold, original musical ideas. His unique “native language” blends free jazz, lyrical expressionism, and unconventional performance techniques.
On Friday, October 24, he will perform at Jazz Club 1984 together with leading figures of Georgia’s free improvisation scene — Irakli Sanadiradze (drums, percussion) and Rezo Kiknadze (saxophone, electronics).
