"Little Red Dots and the Possible Way Out of the Cosmological Dead End" – A Lecture by Astronomer Kirill Maslennikov

This past summer brought several exciting events in the science of the Universe. Instead of providing a brief overview, as is usually the case, I would like to focus more on what I believe to be the most significant. I will talk about the role that the recently discovered mysterious Little Red Dots, seen with the James Webb Telescope, seem to play in the Early Universe. These new objects may serve as a much-anticipated game changer that could help connect the dots. We will also discuss other cosmic sensations – primarily the interstellar comet 3I/ATLAS. Come join us!
