The responsibility of caring for six-year-old Lilo Pelekai has fallen to her older sister, Nani. Nani has to juggle work and studies, so Lilo often finds herself alone. One day, a neighbor suggests adopting a dog from a shelter to help ease Lilo’s loneliness. But instead of a dog, Lilo brings home a cute alien. She names him Stitch — but on his home planet, he’s known as Experiment 626. A fugitive from galactic authorities and the result of genetic experiments, Stitch is highly destructive, capable of rapid learning, and nearly indestructible.
