We’re launching a new English conversation club for those who want to sound more natural, understand native speakers better, and finally get those tricky phrasal verbs and silent letters right.
The sessions will be full of laughter, practical tips, and real communication — from British comedy clips and jokes to pronunciation hacks and cultural insights.
Meet Your teacher – Dave
«I'm Dave, a musician and English teacher with a TEFL certificate and a music degree from Brighton, UK. I've been teaching since 2016, starting in Kyiv while playing double bass in a wild folk band.
I'm passionate about languages — I speak some Russian, understand Ukrainian, and now study Georgian. I love teaching and work with students of all levels, including complete beginners who now speak confidently.
I focus on phonetics, grammar, vocabulary, and phrasal verbs, making detailed notes and recapping each lesson to boost progress. I’ve worked with Ukrainian, Russian, and Georgian learners and am proud of the results we've achieved.»
The first class should be intermediate and higher, but I can teach beginners too. I love my job and I’m very patient with beginners too. For beginners, I can translate everything I need to into Russian, and even some Ukrainian and Georgian now! (My Russian speaking level is somewhere around A2/ B1, but I need to work on my grammar).»
