Buddhism is not only and not that much a religion. Having taken some of its forms from outside, this ancient teaching about mind is also connected with philosophy and psychology. But the key to it remains the achievement of an unconditional, timeless happiness that cannot be destroyed or taken away— the happiness of knowing the nature of mind.
There are 4 main schools of Tibetan Buddhism, in general, different in methods and purpose. Thus, the Karma Kagyu school is predominantly practice-oriented, and the methods of Diamond Way Buddhism of the Karma Kagyu tradition are oriented towards direct identification with one's Buddha nature, inherent in all living beings. Thanks to their application in ordinary everyday life, without the need to become a monk, the state of mind of a person changes qualitatively. As a result, we naturally become more stable, more compassionate, and have an inner surplus to help the beings around us.
What are these methods, and how to apply them without distorting their authentic essence? Are there any secret and complicated ones among them, and what is the Buddhist path about? You will learn about this and much more in Tbilisi on October 6 at 19:00 from the lecture by Christian Bösel, a German student of Lama Ole Nydahl in English with translation into Russian.
