Description
The lecture will include: a brief excursion into the history of Scandinavian interiors, many photographs of interiors from the 1940s - 1950s, leading designers of Denmark, Finland and Sweden and their main works, the history of international recognition of Scandinavian design in the 20th century, a simple and concise explanation of why The Scandinavian school of design differs from all others. And no hygge!
The lecture will be given by Artem Dezhurko, design historian, PhD, ex-teacher at HSE, ex-head of the object design sector at the All-Russian Museum of Decorative Arts.
