The personality of the outstanding Dutch master Rembrandt van Rijn is surrounded by a halo of stereotypes and legends.
In this meeting, we will explore where the truth lies and where fiction begins, discuss the life and work of the master. We will analyze his most famous works, uncover the meanings embedded in them, and learn how and why once a successful, in-demand, and wealthy artist brought himself to bankruptcy.
The lecture will be conducted by Pasha Rost — a painter, illustrator, and graduate of the Florence Academy of Arts, Faculty of Academic Painting.
