Lecture by art historian Margarita Solís "The DNA of Spanish Art"

The lecture will focus on the key motifs of Spanish art. We will learn about several individuals — artists, playwrights, and others — who most clearly characterize the culture of this country and its uniqueness. Some of these authors you may have already thought of, but some will certainly surprise you and be a revelation!

We will look at paintings from different eras, discuss Spanish dramas and performances, and together we will outline the foundations of Spain's artistic imagery. We will highlight the elements that have endured through the centuries and make up its essence.

We will summon Spanish spirits, delve into the depths, and uncover the unique beauty of this land. ¡Olé!
