At the lecture, we will discuss what children's poetry is and why it is genuinely interesting to read. I will share my observations, research, and experience working with children's poems.
We’ll talk about choosing books for different ages, how a love for poetry develops, and whether there are universal principles for good children's poetry. I will also showcase my favorite discoveries from three years of work at "Podpisnye Izdaniya", offering plenty of book recommendations.
The lecture is designed for adults (parents, educators, and anyone who loves children's books). You are welcome to bring children, but please note that the event is not specifically adapted for them.
