A talk with writer Dmitry Petrov — author of biographies of U.S. President John F. Kennedy, writers Vasily Aksyonov and Anatoly Gladilin, philosophers Ayn Rand, Pyotr Struve, Fyodor Stepun, and propaganda theorist Sergei Chakhotin.

Petrov is published in Russia and Europe, regularly contributes to international Russian-language journals, and takes part in major cultural events of the Russian diaspora, including "SlovoNovo" in Budva and "Kulturus" in Prague.

His European book tour concludes in Batumi, following presentations in Switzerland, France, and Germany.
The centerpiece is his new book, “Parents’ Day” — a poignant novella about a meeting between parents and their son in Kyiv under rocket fire.
