Lecture “Manet or Monet?”

Let’s talk about the Impressionists and explore:

• what united them and why they were criticized

• how the term itself was born and why it was originally offensive

• the specific features of Monet and Manet

• and most importantly, how to tell them apart

We’ll reinforce what we learn with a guessing game to make it stick!
