The poems "Odyssey" and "Iliad" are considered to be among the first literary works created in Europe. According to legend, they were written by the blind singer Homer, but historians still argue about the authenticity of his existence.
At Zhenya Eliseeva’s lecture in Papers, we will discuss what is known about the poem from the point of view of not only history and archeology, but also linguistics.
Zhenya Eliseeva is a teacher of Latin and Ancient Greek, master of linguistics.
The lecture takes place as part of the Week to Help charity week from the Emigration for Action foundation. Half of the proceeds will go to purchase medicines for Ukrainian refugees.
