This is a real hike!
We will be walking through the Lagodekhi Nature Reserve! The reserve is unique in its beauty and is considered one of the oldest in the country. Here, on the slopes of the Greater Caucasus Range, a unique subtropical microclimate has formed. It’s especially interesting to visit the park in autumn, as everything is still green there.
We are in for a hike that involves some challenges: a climb up a steep hill with a good elevation gain of about 500 m. The total distance is 7 km one way, with a significant ascent.
A roaring 40-meter waterfall awaits us. A mesmerizing sight!
We’ll bring a picnic and lunch with us (there will be a stop at a supermarket on the way out of the city).
The total distance we’ll cover is about 350 km.
