The Nightmare Before Christmas

The Nightmare Before Christmas is a 1993 animated puppet musical. He is often credited to Tim Burton: he was a co—author of the script and the idea, but the director was a young debutant animator Henry Selik. The film became a sleeper hit: in the year of its release, it collected a moderate box office. But over time, The Nightmare Before Christmas raised more and more money, gained an army of fans and became a cult: now there is even a whole toy industry around its universe.
