Description

Music that’s ahead of its time.
Words that stay in your soul.
The time has come to once again feel what The King left us!

On May 2, at the Tbilisi Concert Hall — organized by SPARKS — we will once again bring to life the work of the legendary Georgian musician, Irakli Charkviani.

A legend of Georgian alternative music, Irakli Charkviani remains a beloved and cherished artist to this day. He began his musical career in 1976 with the band "Arish". Later, he became a member of the group "Taxi" along with Dada Dadiani, Bichiko Osipov, and Kakha Kikabidze — a band that gained significant popularity in Georgia during the 1990s. In the early ’90s, he also played with the group "Children’s Medicine", and by the late ’90s, he was involved in the project "Daira".

As time passes, Irakli Charkviani’s music only grows in value and relevance. His contribution to not just Georgian music but to modern Georgian culture as a whole is immense. Listeners feel it deeply, and it’s safe to say that “The King” remains one of the most popular Georgian musicians — with even the younger generation knowing and singing his songs by heart.

On May 2, together with outstanding Georgian musicians, we will come together at the Tbilisi Concert Hall to once again share in the brilliance of Irakli Charkviani’s artistry.
