We’ve decided to dedicate the February Community Day to Georgian hospitality and the culture of Tbilisi courtyards. This is a traditional way of creating local communities: family, neighborhood, and urban.
The Community Day will kick off with expert lectures, where they’ll discuss the structure of Georgian courtyards and the traditions of communication among Georgians. Guests will learn how to survive a feast and pick up some Tbilisi street slang, and will also watch a short film about neighbors.
Throughout the day in the Papers garden, you can sample food and drinks from Tbilisi-based projects you’ve probably heard of, chat, and meet new people. In the evening, there will be an intimate concert of Georgian folklorists in the bar.
We’ll publish the full schedule very soon — stay tuned for updates.
