"Kokrichina" – The literary foundation of the performance is once again based on a well-known Georgian fairy tale plot. The director uses a technique well-established and tested in puppet theaters, which involves the inclusion of a storyteller, or rather a protagonist. The storyteller continuously engages in the progression of the performance and, along with the other fairy tale characters, represents the eternal victory of good.
From January 14, 2016, the creative process of the Batumi Puppet and Youth Theater continues in the reconstructed building. The historical building with its one floor and summer space has been granted the status of a cultural heritage monument.
