Let's trace the features of Alfonso Cuaron's direction and analyze how he works with the artistic space of his films, and also reflect on why his "Prisoner of Azkaban" is a universal story that is unlikely to ever become outdated. How did a young Mexican director remake The 400 Blows in Hogwarts and get away with it? Immediately after the New Year holidays, our space will host a meeting dedicated to the third part of one of the most fabulous and magical film franchises.

The film adaptation of “The Prisoner of Azkaban” - some call it not only “a turning point”, but also “the best” in the series, while others categorically do not accept it because it is too free with the original. At our meeting we will talk about the reason for such polar opinions and what the “Prisoner of Azkaban” directed by Alfonso Cuaron is actually about.
