Kidnapping, Caucasian Style

While traveling to one of the mountain republics to collect folklore, a student named Shurik falls in love with a charming girl named Nina — an athlete, an honors student, a devoted Komsomol member, and simply a beauty.

But suddenly, she is kidnapped by a gang of three men who plan to force her into marriage.

Naive Shurik doesn’t realize what’s going on at first — but soon bravely rushes to rescue the Caucasian captive.
