KIBE TERRACE x WEEEIRDOS: GWÄN // LOLSNAKE // SEQTA // SUPERGLOSS

On August 21st, the club’s terrace willl host the showcase of Weeeirdos, a platform supporting queer artists in Berlin since 2017 with a residency at Berghain’s Saule. Headlining the event are Supergloss and Lolsnake. Drawing inspiration from the timeless techno tracks of the 90s and 00s, Supergloss creates a highly danceable blend of energetic sounds that seamlessly combines the styles of the past and future. In a short time, Supergloss has not only found her audience but also become a significant figure in the European electronic scene. Leaning into several layers of dance music, from metallic techno, angelic trance, and squishy acid to cosmic bleep, Weeeirdo’s founder Lolsnake fuses a maelstrom of textures into their sets, stirring up heady atmospheres and hypnotic moods on the dancefloor, forming a magnetic aesthetic of their own. They will be joined by Gwän, Berlin/Tbilisi-based DJ, resident of Berlin’s queer event series Fluid Vision, and co-founder of the Faction event series, who is known for her distinctive performance techniques and impeccable selection. Completing the lineup is Seqta, a Tbilisi/Berlin-based DJ, producer, and resident artist at the TES club. His sound fuses hypnotic acid trance, shamanic tribal drums, and progressive breaks, infused with raw, ghetto sensuality.
