Our adventure begins in the village of Gulebi, where you’ll hear the tragic tale of Mevlud, the "Adjarian Robin Hood."

Visit a historic mosque.

Hike up to the Gulebi Fortress.

Enjoy the natural beauty of the Eknara mineral springs.

End the day in a cozy wine cellar with free wine tasting.

Location

Batumi

The port city and Black Sea resort of Batumi is the capital of the Georgian Republic of Adjara. The Batumi Boulevard runs along the seafront, a park, and a beach. The 130-meter-high Alphabet Tower, featuring inscriptions in the Georgian script, houses an observation deck with stunning sea views. In the Old Town, you can see many reconstructed 19th-century buildings. In the northern part of Batumi lies the botanical garden, home to plants from around the world.
