Kaviani Fortress Hike

Departure:
We leave Batumi around 10:00 a.m. The drive takes about 1.5 hours, heading toward the village of Keda, along a scenic road with stunning views of mountainous Adjara.

Hiking:
Our trail goes through the lush Colchian forest, already dressed in its autumn colors. The forest is shaded and full of charm, with occasional breathtaking viewpoints.
We’ll reach the ancient fortress of Kaviani, explore its ruins, and enjoy the beauty of the surrounding landscape.

Total distance: about 7 km
Elevation gain: around 200 m

We’ll stop along the way for a lunch break with beautiful views.

Return:
After returning to the car, we’ll have herbal tea with sweet treats and then head back home.
We expect to be back in Batumi around 7:00 p.m.
