We continue the tradition of our most heartwarming living room-style concerts!
This time, stepping onto the carpet:
Olesya Zagrava — gentle and soulful songs about love, mountains, and love for mountains, reflections on life performed in Russian and Ukrainian. A lyrical blend of folk, bard music, and something uniquely in between.
Ezhe and “Old Pew” — song-stories in punk-tango style about vegetarian pirates, strange islands, Sartrean nausea, chronic romantic deficiency, and other pressing existential phenomena.
The second set will feature songs entirely based on the poems of 19th-century Austrian psychiatrist Heinrich Hoffmann and the one and only Tim Burton, accompanied by piano, accordion, and violin. The songs are in Russian, with projected illustrations for context.
