Ever wanted to try jazz, but thought you first needed to:
— learn how to sing properly;
— understand sheet music;
— figure out what swing actually is;
— buy a beret;
— grow old enough to confidently know Ella Fitzgerald’s entire discography?
Forget all that.
On August 29 in Tbilisi, we're hosting a jazz class for anyone curious to give jazz a try — even if you know absolutely nothing about it.
We'll sing, improvise, play with rhythm, and find out just how far you can wander away from the melody before the jazz police show up.
Leading the mayhem is Serafima — singer, vocal coach, and burlesque performer. She has enough stage experience to convince you to do the very thing you were saying “Oh no, I’m too shy” about five minutes earlier.
No experience required.
No need to sing perfectly.
And no one will have to perform solo or pass a jazz exam.
