Plot:
A night-time collision with a stray dog leads a family to a roadside garage. The mechanic, Vahid (Vahid Mobasseri), a former political prisoner, hears the squeak of the driver’s prosthetic leg and freezes: it is the exact sound he remembers from his prison interrogations. Convinced he has found his former torturer, Vahid kidnaps the stranger and summons other victims of the regime to put him on trial. But the thirst for revenge collides with an agonising question: what if he is wrong?
