“In Search of Primroses. On the Way to the Kabeni Waterfalls” — экскурсия и хайкинг с биологом

Spring has arrived early and unexpectedly this year — perhaps even without the famous gizhi marti (“crazy March”). It’s the perfect time to look for primroses, the timeless messengers of spring that are already in bloom. Together with biologist Alexey Sivukhin, we will set off in search of these delicate flowers.

Our journey includes visits to Kojori Fortress and Kabeni Monastery, with most of the route passing through a forest filled with spring beauty.

We will explore two Kabeni waterfalls and see whether the local freshwater crab has emerged from winter dormancy. Expect scenic views, the Asureti River gorge, blooming spring plants, fresh greenery, and, as always, new encounters with representatives of Georgian fauna.
