Impressionism

In the lecture on Sunday we’ll talk about Impressionism — its revolution and its brightest representatives. And we’ll also learn:

• How did artists expand the space of art?

• What was the innovation of the Impressionists?

• What role did urban space and the inhabitants of Paris play in the birth of modern art?

• And where does Japan fit into this?
