Playing "World 2400" - A Coaching Workshop

Welcome to planet Earth in the year 2400. You are a resident of Interpolis, the capital of Earth. A person of great importance, you interact with other equally significant individuals, their advisors, relatives, and support staff. In short, everyone involved in making decisions of planetary scale and influencing those who do.

The state of affairs on Earth is dire. Due to global climate change and melting glaciers, the landmass has shrunk sixfold, pushing the world to the brink of a severe economic, political, and social crisis. Frequent viral outbreaks and limited habitable areas have caused most people to inherit genetic diseases. Earth's authorities have mandated all residents with genetic diseases to wear red armbands, while healthy individuals wear white ones. A shift in magnetic poles has triggered a global information and technological crisis: the internet and mobile networks no longer function, and electricity has disappeared.

The Council of Scientists from Zemcosmos conducted reconnaissance in nearby galaxies and identified a planet similar to Earth that could be reached and colonized. Many Earth residents dream of being the first colonizers and escaping a planet collapsing under the weight of natural disasters, waste crises, hunger, and disease. However, there won’t be enough room on the spaceship for everyone. The lists are nearly complete, with just a few names left to finalize.
