The story follows a woman who was forced to flee Abkhazia at the age of four. As an adult, she decides to return to Sukhumi, the place where she was born. There she meets a young Abkhazian tour guide and tries to convince him that Georgians and Abkhazians were never destined to be enemies—that they share the same blood, the same history, and the same homeland.
Based on a true story, the play explores the idea of inherited memory—the deep emotional connection to a homeland known only through family stories, old photographs, and the memories of others.
It is a moving story about identity, loss, remembrance, and the hope for reconciliation.
