A young woman who was displaced from Abkhazia at the age of four decides, as an adult, to travel to Sukhumi, the place where she was born.
There, she meets a young Abkhaz tour guide and tries to convince him that Abkhazians and Georgians have never been enemies, and that they share the same blood, the same history, and the same land.
The play is based on a true story.
The performance explores the idea of genetic memory — an inherited connection to Abkhazia, a homeland known only through family memories, other people's stories, and old photographs.
