“I Love You, Georgia”
“I Love You, Georgia” — a creative evening dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Tinatin Mghvdliashvili.
At the event, well-known and popular songs based on the poet’s verses will be performed. Tinatin Mghvdliashvili is the author of numerous famous patriotic poems, including “Let Us Sharpen Our Swords, Georgians, Let Us Sharpen Our Swords!”, “Lonely, Solitary Lady…”, “The Builder Will Come to Tbilisi,” and others.
The audience can look forward to a special evening where poetry and music blend harmoniously, and each phrase artistically conveys the author’s creative message.
The port city and Black Sea resort of Batumi is the capital of the Georgian Republic of Adjara. The Batumi Boulevard runs along the seafront, a park, and a beach. The 130-meter-high Alphabet Tower, featuring inscriptions in the Georgian script, houses an observation deck with stunning sea views. In the Old Town, you can see many reconstructed 19th-century buildings. In the northern part of Batumi lies the botanical garden, home to plants from around the world.
