Dear friends! The first VR performance “How an Ancient Greek Went to Olympus to Stop the War” is coming to Tbilisi!
This unique immersive show, based on the work of Aristophanes, transports you entirely into the fantastical world of Ancient Greece through VR technology.
You will be able to:
· fly on the back of a giant beetle,
· visit a massive “Temple of Toilets,”
· choose whether to be a slave or a landowner,
· experience ancient comedy across three levels of humor — from satirical and low to refined and intellectual.
This is a journey where the audience does not simply watch but becomes a full participant in the action alongside live actors.
The performance merges theatre, cinema, and video games and has been recognized by experts as one of the world’s best VR theatre experiences:
“The worlds are incredibly beautiful.”
“After one scene, it took me about an hour to recover.”
“What you are doing is unlike anything else.”
“I want to come, but I don’t have VR glasses — what should I do?”
No worries — VR headsets are provided on site. You just need to come.
If seats are available and you have your own equipment, you can also connect remotely from anywhere in the world.
