The protagonists, Barti and Gonga, discover a box full of iron crosses in a junkyard. Barti comes up with the idea of turning them into glowing crosses and selling them. Through this, they — and the audience with them — explore the outskirts of Tbilisi and meet their eccentric inhabitants.
