2000 Surrounded by windmills and tulips, Nancy lives a seemingly perfect life in the town of Holland, Michigan, where Dutch cultural traditions are cherished. She works at the local school, has a beautiful home, a loving husband who is an optometrist, and a wonderful son.

But one day, her husband's latest trip to a medical conference raises suspicions — Nancy begins to suspect he might be having an affair. With the help of a fellow teacher, she launches her own investigation.
