“Rkoni: Tedzami Gorge and Queen Tamar’s Bridge”

Let’s take advantage of the long autumn and explore one of the most secluded and beautiful places in Shida Kartli.

Together with our biologist Alexey Sivukhin, we will start from the village of Rkoni, walk through the scenic Tedzami Gorge, visit the Rkoni Monastery, and see the remarkable arched stone bridge of Queen Tamar. After that, we’ll hike up to a hilltop church and enjoy breathtaking views of the surroundings.

Along the route, we will observe nature, learn about the local flora and fauna, and enjoy Alexey’s fascinating stories.
