What kind of mushroom is this? Why do flowers bloom in October? Is that snake poisonous? And what kind of bird is that with many colors? You’ll be able to ask these and other popular questions to someone who has studied biology for many years and teaches others!
Nikita Tiunov — biologist, botanist, teacher, and birdwatcher — will interestingly and informatively talk about everything around us in the forest, field, or by the water.
Together with you and Nikita, we will set out on a short trail near Lake Chili, stopping at especially interesting spots to listen to Nikita and ask him questions. We’ll walk through endless fields with horses, herds of sheep and cows, through dense forest with small streams, and finally reach the lake for a long picnic by the fire. With such diversity of ecosystems, we’re sure to encounter something “biologically interesting.”
We are Masha and Nikita Tiunov, biology teachers. In the summer of 2021, we moved from Moscow to Tbilisi. Here, in addition to working at school, we organize excursions, trips, and biology-themed lectures for parents and children.
Join us!
Also, feel free (and encouraged!) to share your own nature discoveries in the group and ask questions. We’ll try to find the answers together!
